Nearly 30 years ago, St. Titus congregation dreamed about something greater.

The money was raised, and as we were preparing to build and expand to have a larger sanctuary, proper classrooms, and other types of space to carry out our ministry, we were made aware that there were bodies who were resting. So, the money that was raised at the time, it needed to be redirected. St. Titus made a very difficult decision to honor and to respect the dead was more important than meeting the deadline.
Thirty years ago, Phil Freelon, a great architect designed this space. He also designed the museum, the African American History and Culture, and the Heath Department downtown.
Today, September 6, 2026, we are reviving this old dream!
“St. Titus needs an investment of your time, your talent, and your treasure!”
